This past quarter, I was honored to be named one of the Top 50 ADPList Mentors out of over 3,000 worldwide.
🏆
It’s not about the badge (though the badge is cute).
It’s about the people I’ve met, the conversations I’ve had, and the designers I’ve seen grow in real time.
Why I Mentor
I started mentoring because I’ve had a hard time finding mentors for myself, and I don’t want anyone else to experience that struggle.
I keep mentoring because I genuinely love it.
Whether we’re workshopping a portfolio, preparing for a big interview, or figuring out what the next right step is—it’s an energizing, collaborative space. And no two conversations are ever the same.
Mentorship has reminded me how important it is to have someone in your corner who’s walked the path before you. Someone who can listen, ask the right questions, and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Who I Work With
Most of the designers I mentor are navigating one of these transitions:
- Moving from junior to mid-level (or mid to senior)
- Switching industries or specialties (e.g., graphic to product design)
- Trying to land their next opportunity after a layoff
- Feeling stuck in their current role and unsure of what’s next
If that’s you, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it all out solo.
